Visit Flanders Fields

The Flanders Fields offer the Heritage Footpath through the centre, or you can rent a bicycle and enjoy the views as you ride. There are also plenty of car routes through Ypres for those who want to explore further afield.

Whatever you choose to do during your Ypres Mini Cruise, you’ll be sure to return having enjoyed the perfect getaway. Alternatively you could take a guided tour with Get Your Guide and step into Ypres history with a visit to the iconic poppy fields.

 

Eat like a Belgian local

Ypres has a surprisingly diverse selection of food options for a town of its size, with plenty of Belgian and international cuisines on offer. 

Many of the most popular restaurants and bistros are clustered on the terrace of the market square, meaning diners can enjoy fantastic views of the cathedral while they eat.
