We are sorry to hear you may have misplaced a personal item while traveling with us on one of our ferries on our Dover to Calais route, we’re here to help.

 

We have partnered with Lost Property Management to Complete Lost Property Service, CLPS.

 

We use the NotLost system to manage lost property enquiries for our Dover to Calais route. You can use the form below to record the lost property with our team or to find out if your lost property has been handed in and how to claim it back.

 

Please note this form is for items found on our Dover to Calais services only, for details on how to reclaim lost items for our other routes please see details below.

 

Once the form has been completed, your lost item will be registered and you will be notified via email if a match has been found. 

 

Please be aware it may take some time, possibly 7-14 days for any found items to be received and logged, before matching can occur, we thank you for your patience in this time.

Lost Property FAQ's

1 How do I report lost property with P&O Ferries?
If you need to report ferry lost property, you can do so at any time using our NotLost form above. However, if you are still onboard when you realise an item is missing, please visit the reception desk immediately. Our crew may be able to help you locate your belongings before arrival at the port. If your item is not found during this time, you will be asked to complete our NotLost form located on our Lost Property page. Please note this service is only available on our Dover to Calais route.
2 I left an item on board, how do I reclaim it?
When reclaiming lost property across our ferries, the process is slightly different. For Dover to Calais services please use our NotLost form to log your lost item. For lost property on our Hull to Rotterdam ferries, please contact our security team by email: security.hull@poferries.com or by phone: 01482 708 237. For items lost on our Larne to Cairnryan route please contact our team via email: help@poferries.com.
3 How long does it take for P&O Ferries to process lost property requests?
For all ferry lost property enquiries across our routes, please allow 7–14 days for any recovered items to be returned to port and securely logged before matching can take place.We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
4 How do I report a lost item after leaving the ferry?

If you have already disembarked, you can still report your ferry lost property:

  • Use the NotLost form for our Dover to Calais route

  • Contact the relevant route email listed above for other services

We strongly recommend reporting your lost item as soon as possible to increase the chances of recovery.

5 How will I be notified if my lost item is found?
If you have used the NotLost service for our Dover to Calais route, you will be notified via email. For all other routes, a member of P&O staff, either from our security team or customer service team will contact you via email.
